But like so much unloved tech, modders and hackers have come in clutch, rescuing Sony’s dud and transforming it into one of the best mini retro consoles you can buy in my opinion. Within a few weeks, PlayStation Classics were discounted by as much as half, with heaps of them literally in bargain bins.
