I type in my external ip address into the VNC viewer from a computer outside my network, followed by :5901 (I've read one colon, or two colons, tried both, both fail) IE 26.x.xxx.44:5901.? And my connection is always refused. I obtained the external IP address for my modem/router. I have my VNC server?listening?on port 5901/5801. My starting port and ending port is 5901 for that computer as well.

I've configured port forwarding exactly as everyone has told me (even did it step by step the way the portforwarding website has detailed it for use with VNC) My starting port is 5801, ending port 5801 for my pc at 192.1.12.12. I can access computers from inside the Lan, but not outside. I've got a bunch of computers operating on a LAN at home that i would like to be able to access individually through VNC.
